Electronic Waste Collection Event

Dispose of your household e-waste for free

As a service to our members, PMCU is partnering with Techno Rescue to help the community responsibly dispose of their electronics.

Event is at the parking lot of Stargate Charter School, across the street from our Thornton branch.

  • Saturday, November 16, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • 14530 Washington St, Thornton, CO 80023

What will be accepted?

We will collect an unlimited amount of kitchen appliances, old computers/laptops, vacuums, phone chargers, and essentially anything that plugs in or runs on batteries, for free!

We will also accept two TVs/monitors for free per member and any additional such items for $20 per unit (paid in cash to the on-site staff)

We can NOT accept the following items:

  • Light bulbs
  • Smoke/carbon monoxide detectors
  • Thermostats

While this event is free for all PMCU members, there is a suggested donation to Reaching Hope. Know someone who isn’t a member who wants to participate? They can bring their materials if they become a member and open a $5 savings account.

If you have any questions about the event, reach out to our Sustainability Specialist, Garrett Chappell, at 303.657.7764.
